Messaging terms

Effective October 26, 2026

These terms cover texts from barbershops that use SnapMyCut, and the SnapMyCut web chat.

What you get

When you text a shop that uses SnapMyCut, you're talking to that shop's consultation and booking desk. Texts come from the shop's number and start with the shop's name. You may get:

  • replies to your messages;
  • haircut previews made from your photos;
  • booking confirmations, changes and cancellations;
  • reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before an appointment;
  • messages from your barber.

How you opt in

You text the shop first, or scan the QR code at a barber's chair and send the text it fills in, or ask your barber in person to invite you. The first reply says who's texting and how to stop.

Frequency, rates, STOP and HELP

  • Message frequency varies. Most texts are replies to you.
  • Msg & data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to stop all texts from that shop. You'll get one text confirming it, and nothing after that. Reply START to turn texts back on.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email support@snapmycut.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Quiet hours

Reminders and invites aren't sent between 9 pm and 8 am shop time. Replies to your own messages can come at any time.

Previews

  • Previews are made by an AI model. They show an idea of the cut, not a promise of the result. Your barber decides what works for your hair.
  • Only send photos you have the right to share.
  • Previews aren't made for children.

Appointments

Appointments are with the shop, not with SnapMyCut. The shop sets its own services, prices, hours and policies.

Privacy

Read the privacy policy for what we collect, how long we keep it and how to delete it. We never sell your mobile number or share it, or your opt-in, for marketing.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.

Support

Email support@snapmycut.com, or reply HELP to any text from a shop.
